Opportunities to Get Involved

James Project+

The James Project is a community of Christians committed to serving our church family and the local community through home repair and related services, to demonstrate God’s love. Home repair services are available to single parents, low income, senior citizens, special needs families, the disabled, and many others.

We’re a team of volunteers serving together in a large group for bi-monthly events. We usually need 30-60+ volunteers for these events. We appreciate if you sign-up, but drop-in volunteers are always welcome! Volunteers are needed for home repair, landscaping, administration, bakers, creative team, care team, social services, special needs experience, witnessing, etc.

For more information or to get involved, please email [email protected] or visit the James Project website.

Standing for Life

Once a month, members of our Olive Branch family Stand for Life at family planning centers in Riverside and San Bernardino. They desire to connect with women (or those who are bringing them) in this difficult time in order to share the love of Jesus and to encourage them towards choosing life. For more information or to get involved, please contact Debbie or Shelly.

Disabilities Ministry+

We are in the process of developing a ministry for families and individuals with disabilities. This ministry will be geared towards moving these families and individuals from the margins to the mainstream. For more information or to get involved, please contact Kevin Cain at [email protected].

Reach

This evangelistic ministry uses many different methods to reach the lost in our surrounding neighborhoods. For more information or to get involved, please contact Gil.

Riverside County Jail Ministry

This ministry seeks to show and share the love of Christ with a group of men currently in jail in Riverside. This is a great opportunity to share hope with men who often understand their need more than most. For more information or to get involved, please contact Bennett .

International Students, Inc.

We are in the process of developing a ministry to international students in the Riverside County area. Every year, thousands of students come to Riverside County to study and can feel very lonely and lost. Many of these students come from unreached places in the world. This is an excellent opportunity to share the love and message of Christ with some who may never hear otherwise. They can then return home and see God change others into a community of passionate Christ-followers in their home countries. For more information or if you would like to help spearhead this ministry, please contact Kevin Cain at [email protected].

+These ministries are developed in the church in order to do outreach with excellence.
